Our lobby displays elements of Walker Racing's 13 year history including trophies from the team's nearly 30 podium finishes in Champ Car and Indy Car competition. The two race cars showcased here represent the first and most recent team victories - the Lola driven by Scott Goodyear to the team's maiden Champ Car win at the 1992 Michigan 500 and Gil de Ferran's Valvoline/Cummins Reynard, which he drove to victory at the 1999 G.I. Joe's 200 in Portland, Ore. Goodyear's Mackenzie Financial car is of particular note as it's the machine he drove from last position on the starting grid to second place in the closest finish in Indianapolis 500 history.
