Housed within the building is a complete preparation and paint area.

Each of our race cars is painted from six to nine times during the season, keeping them in pristine condition for our sponsors. Each time a car is redone, the old paint is removed not only to ensure quality, but to save weight. The average Champ Car paint job weighs about six pounds.

The paint shop is also responsible for the application of decals prior to the bodywork going back onto the race car.
