Lavin advances to the top-rung in open-wheel racing after
competing the last two years in the Toyota Atlantic series.
In Atlantic competition, Lavin accumulated eleven top-ten
starts and 14 top-ten finishes, including a career-best second
place finish at the 2002 Milwaukee event.
The 25-year-old Mexican also has also competed in Mexican
Formula Azteca, Mexico's Formula 3 Nissan Championship and
Dayton Indy Lights Championship. He began racing go-karts
and motocross at the age of four.

Drove for Brian Stewart Racing in the Dayton Indy Lights
